THE FRONIUS PRIMO HYBRID ALL-ROUNDER WITH INDIVIDUAL BACK-UP POWER
The new Fronius Primo Gen24 is being release in late 2020.
This will be the first battery read single phase inverter, which will become available along with the current three phase Fronius Symo battery ready inverters.
With non battery inverters you can oversize the inverter by 33% this is because of the losses in the system. This rule does not apply if you have a solar battery connected to your solar system.
The QLD Government solar rebate can help bring down the costs of a solar battery purchase.
At this current time, batteries are quite an expensive purchase and the solar technology moves fast. So it may not be a good idea to purchase a battery ready inverter if you are not looking at attaching a solar battery to in in a short amount of time. The last thing you want is a battery ready inverter that is a few years old from the time you installed it and it is now not compatible with the new batteries being release.
The new Fronius Primo GEN24 Plus is a great looking inverter and is great for single phase home owners who are looking for a high quality inverter which is battery ready.
The question is, will you be installing a battery in the next year or so before the technology is no longer compatible, it may still be compatible but there is the risk?
